The Plattsburgh YMCA Scuba Program was developed by Chuck LeBlanc and is the longest continually running program the Plattsburgh Y has offered since 1966.
TWO COURSES PER YEAR.
RUNS APPROX. 8-10 WEEKS.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
(6:00 – 10:00 P.M.)
A DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AS ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED.
SPRING COURSE – Starts 1st Wednesday in March.
FALL COURSE – Starts 1st Wednesday in October.
To enroll, there is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee for the program. The fee is paid directly to the Director, Jeff LaBombard.
YMCA Member – $250.00
Non-YMCA Member – $300.00
A $25.00 savings for referral of a friend
Fees cover class & pool work.
POOL SESSIONS – Gear provided “except” mask, fins & snorkel – NOT REQUIRED FIRST NIGHT.
OPEN WATER EQUIPMENT – Can be purchased or rented.
